Tijd voor een wandeling Time for a walk

Het is tijd voor een mooie wandeling. Dus de verrekijker pakken en misschien zijn er nog een paar mooie vogels te zien.
Time for a walk, so take the binoculars and maybe there are some beautiful birds so take the bird books aswell.

De vogelboekjes niet vergeten...

Bij Annelies de Kort heb ik weer een leuke workshop van Wim van Soest gevolgd, deze keer een mooie verrekijker tas gemaakt van leer. De verrekijker past perfect in de tas. En de tas, van leer, kan open en dicht.

Yesterday at the house of Annelies de Kort I went to a great workshop from Wim van Soest. This time I made a leather case for binoculars.

Chic op reis. Travelling in style

Gisteren heb ik weer een hele leuke workshop gevolgd bij Wim van Soest. Deze keer heb ik een beautycase gemaakt. Nu kunnen de poppenhuispopjes chic op reis.

Yesterday I went to a workshop given by Wim van Soest. This time I made a beautycase, now the dolls can travel in style.

Vandaag maar even in de voorraad zoeken of er nog wat spulletjes zijn om in de beautycase te stoppen... een paar flesjes en een kam of zo.

Now I have to look in my stock to see if I have some items to put in the beautycase... a box of soap, a brush, lotion....

Another workshop

Some time ago I went to another workshop by Wim van Soest. I love his workshops because after a days work I go home with a finished product that looks beautiful.
This time I made a leather hatbox.

I made the hat a long time ago but it fits nicely inside.

I have followed other workshops before and some things I have put together for a picture. The chair and pillow are no workshops. The chair was made by a friend for my birthday some years ago and the pillow I embroided many years ago, the pattern comes from the dutch dollshouse magazine Poppenhuis en Miniaturen.

Another basket

Just finished another basket, this is addictive.... It is not as fine as the first one but due to the colored tread the effect is quite charming.

Just to see the difference between the two baskets, I've placed them next to eachother.
