Fijne Valentijn

In de poppenhuis quilt tentoonstelling hangt een hartjes quilt, dat past natuurlijk 

helemaal bij Valentijn.

Poppenhuisquiltjes tussen de grote quilts

 Afgelopen vrijdag en zaterdag hebben de poppenhuisquilttentoonstelling en de handwerkwinkel op de quilttentoonstelling gestaan van de Wadd'n quilters uit Baflo. 

Mijn spullen stonden op de zolder van het Stol-Vennema huis. Wat was het leuk om alle reacties te horen. Regelmatig gingen mensen even rustig op een stoel zitten om alles te bekijken.

Een nieuw kraampje bij de quilt tentoonstelling Addition to the exhibition

Voor het quiltfestival in Noord Groningen heb ik nog een klein kraampje aan mijn tentoonstelling toegevoegd. het kraampje werd nog aantrekkelijker gemaakt door de kussens, beren en ander speelgoed.
De poppenhuis quilttentoonstelling en het handwerkwinkeltje stonden in het dorpshuis in Zandeweer. Vooral de poster van het quiltfestival die ,verkleint, ook in de etalage van de handwerkwinkel hing leverde veel commentaar op. Het was weer een groot succes en ik heb veel complimenten gekregen.

For the exhibition I added a small stand with country style fabrics and kits. And to make the stand more atractive I decorated it with pillows, bears, and toys.
The quiltexhibition and the shop "steekje los" were shown at a quiltfestival in the north of Groningen in the Netherlands. It was a great succes and I was given a lot of compliments.

Een paar kussens Just making some pillows

Vandaag heb ik een paar kussens gemaakt, gewoon een klein knutseltje. Maar een bank lijkt gelijk gezelliger met een paar kussentjes erop.
Today I just made some pillows. Just a small job. A sofa looks even more welcoming with a few pillows.

Like in a real quiltexhibition you will find a stand with fabric and books for the enthousiast. Will she buy a ready to quilt panel?

This lady might go for one of the books on patchwork and quilting. There is enough choice, 3 boxes full of books....

Eventhough there are signs (in dutch) not to touch the quilts there are always some people who can't resist the urge....

Quilt exposition in miniature

Since I love making miniature quilts and couldn't put more in my houses, I decided to make a quilt exhibition a few years ago. Now I can change or add new quilts.
